This past Friday I performed with my good friends William Menefield and Anthony Lee in Ohio. I featured the show as a live stream on my Facebook page. You can also watch a replay below. We had a fun time at this show and lots of great moments were captured on video. Take a look and see for yourself.
Check out the video from a show I organized with the William Menefield Trio in March. We performed an interpretation of the spiritual Wade in The Water to a sold-out crowd at The Jazz Kitchen.
If you like the video and want to see this band in your city send me a message using the form below. We're currently booking shows for summer and fall 2016.

This episode of Tales from the Bandstand features an upright bass solo I played over a tune called Ms. Pecan. The song was written by William Menefield and is named for his late grandmother. It’s become a highlight of our shows at The Greenwich. Check out the video. I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Here's the second episode of my new series of videos featuring my show's with the William Menefield Trio. This one highlights our drummer, Anthony "T" Lee. I really believe this group has a sound that will resonate with music lovers all around the US and abroad. So I'm documenting our performances and will share a new video each week. Please check out the this episode below and let me know what you think of it. Thanks!
I've decided to create a new series of videos featuring my show's with the William Menefield Trio. We perform at The Greenwich Tavern on the 3rd Friday of each month. Our shows always go over really well with the crowd but the room only holds about 50 people.

My free live album, Live at The Jazz Kitchen in now available on Bandcamp. I'm giving away this music as a way of thanking everyone who has been supportive of my work in 2015. I've placed the album on Bandcamp in order to provide an easy and convenient means of downloading the music. It's totally free but there is an option to donate for those who would like to help me continue spreading my music to new audiences in 2016. Listen to the album below. Thanks!
On Sunday November 22nd I met with my friends William Menefield and Anthony Lee at Lausche Recording Studio in Cincinnati to begin recording Will's new trio album. We had a very productive session and a lot of fun. I'm extremely excited about the future of this group. There's an awesome chemistry with this band that is hard to come by.
Check out some clips from our recording session below. I will do my best to keep you in the loop during the entire process of this recording. There are so many great moments that happen before the record button is pushed and I want to be able to share that experience as well as the finished product. Leave a comment and let me know what you think!
I’m preparing for a recording session with the William Menefield Trio this fall. Over the past few months we’ve been developing and testing new material at our monthly show at The Greenwich Jazz Club in Cincinnati. So far the audience response has been amazing. We’ve received standing ovations, demands for encores and we’ve had people get up and start dancing in the middle of our set.
It’s very rare for a jazz piano trio to get that level of audience engagement so we’re excited about getting into the studio and recording an album for you. Below you can check out a clip from a recent show we did at a new jazz club in Covington, Kentucky called The 404. I’d love to know what you think of the music so please leave a comment!
